Karin is the owner of karbloom creative, a freelance consultancy focused on providing commercial marketing and product photography to small businesses.

She has 15+ years of experience in behavioral marketing and sustainability communications. Previously, she led direct-to-consumer and B2B marketing communications campaigns for U.S. and European renewable energy adoption, CPG/compostable packaging adoption, customer engagement in residential and commercial energy efficiency products/programs, and managed corporate sustainability initiatives. She has worked as an in-house photographer for 5+ years doing environmental and product photography for small businesses, in-house marketing agencies, and food/beverage brands.

Currently residing in Seattle, Karin is proud to have a blend of Midwest and East Coast roots. In her free time, she can be found exploring the outdoors, traveling, or finding good food and wine around town.
